Ulric Scatliffe
Founder & First Generation
Scatos Tours was born from a simple but powerful idea: the people of the British Virgin Islands deserved reliable, friendly transportation. Ulric Scatliffe founded the company in 1980 with a regular bus service, faithfully carrying adults and children to and from school and work across Tortola. His commitment to his community laid the foundation for everything that followed.

Karl Scatliffe
Son of Ulric — Olympian, Coach & Visionary
Karl Scatliffe, son of Ulric, took the reins and transformed the family business. An Olympian and professional coach, trainer, and sports administrator, Karl brought championship-level discipline and ambition to Scatos Tours. He expanded the operation by adding a Taxi Service and full Tours programme, while also building a distinguished career in sports and entertainment promotions across track & field and other disciplines. Karl's vision turned a local bus service into a full-scale island experience company.
Kaleem, Ki Jani, Karissa & Skye Scatliffe
The Next Chapter
Today, Karl's children — Kaleem, Ki Jani, Karissa, and Skye Scatliffe — have joined the family business, bringing fresh energy and a deep love for the BVI to every tour. Together they assist in the day-to-day operations, ensuring every guest receives the warm, personal service that has defined Scatos Tours for over four decades. The family legacy continues, one island adventure at a time.
